2010 Beatrice Herrmann Young Artist Recital Competition
Presented by Tacoma Philharmonic

The mission of the Beatrice Herrmann Competition is to promote excellence in musical performance, to encourage young musicians in their pursuit of high artistic standards, and to foster a love of the performing arts in the community and throughout the Puget Sound region.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2010 Competition.  The six outstanding young artists performed in the WINNER'S RECITAL on Sunday, May 23 at 7pm at Pacific Lutheran University's Lagerquist Hall.

Junior Division Winners:  Christopher Lu (First Prize, Kristine Vander Poel (Second Prize)

Senior Division Winners: Benjamin Roidl-Ward (First Prize), Shin Young Chang (Second Prize)

Young Artist Division Winners:  Joseph Bozich (First Prize, Chet Baughman (Second Prize)
